Here at last is the page for all the stuff that we can't put on the other pages. Whether it be a ride out you want to organize, or something you want to sell, or even a chip to get off your shoulder, I'm sure we'll find a place for it on this page. So send in your notice to here. Here is a message from Sue Craig of the 'About Olympics' website. I was looking at the Transpennine Cycling Club website which gives really great information on cycling and I noticed that you have an interest in olympic sports. We have created a very comprehensive public interest website:www.aboutolympics.co.uk/home.htm focused on the olympic games, olympic history and british olympic stars, which I thought may be of interest to your visitors. A particularly relevant/useful page to your site is at: www.aboutolympics.co.uk/OlympicSportsCategory.htm We don't make profit from the site but we'd like to spread the word and get the information out to as many people as possible. Petition Please encourage all cyclists you know to sign the petition on the Prime Ministers website at: http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/roads4bikes/ "We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to listen to cyclists and not approve the revised highway code" More details from petition creator: The new highway code requries cyclsits to use cycle facilities 'wherever possible'. Many facilities are of poor standard, or just plain dangerous. cyclists should not be forced to use such facilities against their better judgment. In short, cyclists should be allowed to use the road. |
