I know what you are all thinking - what on earth is that ghastly old mill doing on our website. Well, the picture was taken circa 1900, and I'm sure a few of the older members remember it well...Cliff?...Steve?...David?...Phil? In actual fact, the scene you are looking at is non other than our meeting place of the last fifteen years - the Wrens Nest. It is taken from the direction as you would aproach - swinging a left into the one way section. I wouldn't fancy takling those cobbles on today's tyres... |
